In this Privacy Policy, references to “we” or “us” are to Droman Solutions Ltd, a company incorporated in Scotland (registered number SC497299) whose registered office is 7 Merchiston Place, Edinburg. Scotland, EH10 4NP and who will be the controller of any personal data processed as described in this Policy.
In compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (“GDPR”) Droman Solutions Ltd provides website visitors with a Data Use Notice regarding our data collection and processing policies and procedures.
This Policy applies to individuals who provide personal data and information as a result of visiting our website, registering to use our Services, and registering to attend events and join our business network. “Personal data” and “personal information”, as used herein, means data, including data about individuals in European Union Member States (“EU Persons”), that is within the scope of the EU regulation 2016/679), that is received by Droman Solutions Ltd and recorded in any form.

We may collect, store and use certain personal information in line with this policy as it pertains to our legitimate business practice. We may also ask for your information when we are in correspondence or for marketing purposes. Records will be kept of any correspondence.
Droman Solutions Ltd may collection information that is not personal data. This information could include the type of internet browser you use, type of computer operating system being used, and the domain name of a website from which you linked to the Droman Solutions Ltd site.

We have appropriate physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and help prevent unauthorised access and maintain data security of, and to use correctly, the information we collect online. These safeguards vary based on the sensitivity of the information that we collect.
Although, we take appropriate measures to safeguard against unauthorised disclosures of information, we cannot assure you that personal data that we collect will never be disclosed in a manner that is inconsistent with this Policy.
In addition, we (or third parties acting on our behalf) may also store or process information that we collect about you in countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA), which may lower the standards of data protection. We have put in place technical and organisational security measures to prevent the loss or unauthorised access of your personal information. However, whilst we have used our best efforts to ensure the security of your data, please be aware that we cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted over the Internet.

Our legal basis for collecting and using the personal information described above will depend on the personal information concerned and the specific context in which we collect it.
However, we will normally only collect personal information for you only (i) where we have your consent to do so, (ii) where we need the personal information to perform a contract with you, (iii) where the processing is in our legitimate interests and not overridden by your rights. In some cases, we may also have a legal obligation to collect personal information from you.
If we ask you to provide personal information to comply with a legal requirement or to perform a contract with you, we will make this clear at the relevant time and advise you whether the provision of your personal information is mandatory or not (as well as the possible consequences if you do not provide your information).

• providers of assessments, marking and awarding services when you sign-up for an assessment.

We retain personal information we collect from you where we have an ongoing legitimate business need to do so (for example, to provide you with a service you have requested or to comply with applicable legal, tax or accounting requirements).
When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymise it or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

10. Children
We are completely committed to protecting the privacy of children. Accordingly, we do not knowingly collect or maintain personal information from persons under 13 years of age, and none of our services currently are directed to persons under 18 years of age. If you are under 18 years of age, then please do not use or access our services at any time or in any manner. We will take urgent and appropriate steps to delete any personal information of persons less than 18 years of age.
11. Research
We have partners that provide content to our services who may carry out research in order to develop and provide or improve service content.
Any research will always be conducted in an ethical and secure manner.
Your activities in connection with the service provided will be shared with the client for academic research purposes or to provide statistics or evidence needed by public sector bodies. This may include any feedback provided by users where you may disclose personal information which will be anonymised.
12. Updating this Privacy Policy
We may update or amend this Privacy Policy from time to time, to comply with law or to meet our changing business requirements. When we update our Privacy Policy, we will take appropriate measure to inform you, consistent with the significance of the changes we make. Following any update, you will be subject to these updates and amendments.
