Deliverables – Unity 3D WebApp for use on internet enabled PC/laptop, administration utility for user management.
In 2018 we partnered with the Scottish Business Resilience Centre to create “Constellate”, a suite of business training apps, designed to connect learning and working.
The Scottish Business Resilience Centre (SBRC) is a non-profit organisation which exists to support and help protect Scottish businesses. Their unique connection to Police Scotland, Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and Scottish Government gives them exclusive access to the latest information on legislation, criminal trends and threats, allowing them to provide the very best advice to safeguard staff, customers and business.
Our first Constellate app was developed to provide a comprehensive foundation on the principles, responsibilities and processes under the General Data Protection Regulation.
We engaged the subject matter expertise of a leading Scottish data protection lawyer to establish the key learning requirement and facilitated scenario storyboard sessions to create a series of realistic 3D office based scenarios, with supporting help facility and glossary.
Following development, the app was rigorously tested and an equalities impact assessment was undertaken.
A licence administration was developed in tandem with the app, so that moderators within organisations can allocate training licences and review relevant management information.
This 3D immersive web application has been designed for small businesses, or for the rapid training of large numbers of staff. It is an engaging way to learn about this important regulatory topic and suits all learning preferences and styles. The app content is regularly reviewed to ensure it is always up to date.
